Accessories!

It's been awhile since I've posted some of my favorite accessories, and after doing some blog browsing and window shopping, I've gathered a few of my favorite things to share with you, my wonderful lustie. ;)

Have you heard of GoJane? It's an awesomely affordable website that has ah-mazeballs jewelry and accessories. I absolutely lurve their stuff. Check it out for yourself and let me know what some of your faves are!

1. Wraparound Colorblock Watch: the pink, orange, and gold is so fresh, and I am digging the bracelet/watch combo here. I always pair a couple of bangles and/or delicate bracelets with my watches, but this one allows you to have that all-in-one look. So cute!

2. Rhinestone Trim Boyfriend Watch: I'm obsessed with rose gold watches right now, and the fact that this watch is super clunky makes me love it even more. Like I said above, I usually pair my watches with a couple bracelets, and this one would look super pretty and feminine with some delicate "tennis-style" bracelets. Find something that has a single row of rhinestones, and another that's a simple chain with a girly charm-show off your personality a little! Or, try this Embellished Anchor Bracelet-I'm in love!

3. Shape Charm Jewelry Set: I'm not usually super cray-cray for jewelry sets, but I actually love this one! I don't think I'd wear them all together, since this necklace needs to be worn on it's own, but I love the color combination of the pink and the gold. I really love the multi-colored set, but the black and turquoise ones are gorgeous as well! I'd love to wear this with a simple tank and some high waisted shorts w/a belt. Totes perfect for a casual summer dinner!

4. Leopard Print Sunglasses: I'm a sunglasses hoarder. I don't even get to wear them that often because I'm usually wearing my glasses (slight contact mishap and now I'm scared to put them in again), but I still constantly buy them. I try to find funkier styles that not everyone has, and these leopard print ones are super sassy and fun. I prefer the purple shade, but the black is just as fab!

That's going to do it for me tonight, I've got the pups curled up at the foot of my bed and my hubs is watching some ridic sci-fi movie, so I think it's the perfect time for me to go watch some crappy reality tv and crash.

Happy Shopping!

Kardashian Kollection at Sears

Image Detail

I'm assuming there was a collective (sorry, I meant "kollective") groan when you all saw the title of this post and immediately knew what it was about. Love them or hate them (I'll get to my opinions later), you have to admit that they're smart and savvy businesswomen. They have built an empire, separately and apart, and are definitely powerful women.

Me, I love them. To be honest, I can't get enough of them. I mean, I'm not obsessed enough to make a "Kardashian Mafia" Instagram and Twitter account (although, if you want, you can follow little ol' me, @cee-jay-elle and @cjleaders, respectively), but I do admire and love everything about them. They're real, they're sexy, confident, and have killer style. Not to mention their take-no-prisoners attitude about them. My personal fave is Kourtney, I think she's the most style savvy and she has a potty mouth-two things I admire in a person. ;)

So anyways, moving on...

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple months (and I'm assuming if you're reading this blog, you haven't been),  you'd know that the Kardashian sisters have their own clothing line at Sears. This has expanded into swimwear, accessories, shoes, lingerie, and now bedding (see what I mean about being moguls?). Some of their stuff is (in my penny-pinching opinion) a little pricey, but since Sears always has really good sales, you can usually get it for at least 30% off.

I'm having a tough time posting pics, and I can't even really link the items, so I'm going to do my best here in making this a relevant post.

Here's just a few of my favorite pieces, and how I'd style them...

1. Women's Striped Shorts: These are a pair of high waisted white shorts w/black stripes. They're super adorable and can be worn dressed up or dressed down. They've paired them with a white, ruffly top, but I think I'd go a funkier route. I love pairing black and white patterns with a pop of color, and with b&w, you can choose your favorite color (I'd personally avoid orange and yellow so you don't look like Halloween or a bumblee), and go from there. Here is what I like:

2. Women's Tribal Print Jumpsuit: If you know me, you know that I love a good jumpsuit. I don't just love them, I'm borderline obsessed with them. I would wear one every single day if I could. A printed one makes me even more giddy, so when I saw that they had some killer jumpsuits, I swooned a little. Obv, there's not a whole lot you can add to a jumpsuit, but you CAN go a little nutso with jewelry if you'd like. Which I always like.

3. Women's Rope Halter Stripe Maxi Dress: maxi dresses are beyond perfect for summertime. They're breezy, easy, and help you look put together when you need to look presentable in a pinch. I love how this one has a slit up the front, it adds a little touch of glamour to an otherwise simple dress. Another plus, these dresses look great on pregnant women-if I'm ever pregnant during the summer months, I'll be living in these thangs.

Everything you see here is from Forever 21, check out their website for amazing deals!

That's all for tonight, the fam took an extra long walk with our new puppy, Harvey, so we're all a little exhausted. Gonna watch some reality TV, then call it a night!

Summer Dresses & Heels!

Summer Dresses & Heels!

People are always asking what should be worn to a certain function. There always seems to be a dilemma regarding the dress code. You don't want to be too dressed up, but you also don't want to be too informal. With Summer comes weddings, bridal showers, and other functions that may not have a specific dress code. With weddings, bridal showers, and other functions can also come panic.

In that situation, there's always a go-to combination: the flirty/fun (but still appropriate) dress and heels. I love the prints that Summer fashions bring-they're always so fresh, and with all the new styles of heels that stores are offering, the possibilities are endless. With this combo, you have the freedom to express yourself while still being totally aprops for the event.

Find any dress you like. Sleeves, sleeveless, whatevs you want-just remember if you go sleeveless/strapless-to go a little longer. You don't want to show too much skin! Once you've found your dress, find your shoes. If you go with a patterned dress, find a complementary colored shoe (like with the purple and the butterflies). If you're feeling extra brave, you can def mix patterns. Like with the blue and white dress, you could do a blue and white striped shoe. Just keep it in the same color family. Go out on a limb and try unexpected color combos like the black and white dress with the mint green shoes.

You're all set now, minus your jewelry. Throw on some old faves from your jewelry box, and head out the door-you don't want to be late!

Happy Partying!

Just wanted to share that Tobi has 30% off their entire site! Their clothes are already a steal, so this discount is fabulous! Y'all already know that I'm obsessed with this site, but I'm still going to share some of my faves. I'm also going to throw in some other current must haves from other sites, since I'm in the mood for a little online window shopping. Enjoy!

Lori Spiked Heels in Beige
LUHHHHHRVE (they come in black too).

Blocked Peplum Dress in Purple and Teal

Take a trip back to the 80's!

Zazie Shift Dress in Black and White

This would look so fab with some colorful jewelry/shoes. You could even throw in some neon pieces.

I just HAD to post this super chic "Versace" dress from Necessary Clothing, it is so gaudy and eclectic...there isn't anything I DON'T love about it. I'm thinking some cobalt blue platforms and huge gold bracelets...you?

CW Upfront Presentation in New York, May 17, 2012

I'm in love with this pic of Shenae Grimes. Not only is she absolutely gorge, but I am totally diggin' her outfit as well. I just bought a pair of off white and blue printed linen shorts at Target and was debating (for like 30 minutes) about whether or not to buy them, and now I'm glad I did! I am seeing printed shorts everywhere now, and I love how they're being taken from day to night. So perfect.

I took the liberty of putting together a few different looks, but I will say, I am LOVING the coral and chiffon combo. Gotta love H&M, right?

That's all for today, it's the Nugget's 2nd birthday party, so I have LOTS to do!

Happy Shopping!
