I'm obsessed...

With BLAZERS! I just bought my first blazer at H&M a few weeks ago. It cost me less than 20 bucks and I swear there were light beams radiating from it when I first laid eyes on it. I bought it in cream knowing full well that it will probably be destroyed in a matter of weeks days, but I don't care. It's the perfect add-on to any outfit and I feel just like Kim K. when I'm wearing it. Now that I've found my favorite low-key blazer, I am in dire need of a statement piece. I want something with shoulder pads and embellishments. Definitely black, and definitely a WOW! blazer.

Ok, so what do you pair a blazer with? The answer? Absolutely ANYTHING. I just wore mine today to a bridal fair with skinny jeans, a black tank, and knee-high boots. I added a simple gold necklace w/a rhinestone pendant and thought I looked pretty put together! I'm going out in a few weeks and I'm planning on pairing it with a looser-fitting cream colored tank and a black skirt. And of course, my leopard print heels. During the winter/fall/early spring, you can also throw the blazer over your sleeveless/strapless dresses to keep yourself warm. Seriously, can't go wrong with a blazer!

So here are some of my faves-under $50 of course!
This blazer from Charlotte Russe looks just like mine, and it's only $39.50! That means you have $10.50 to spend on jewelry-that's always a plus! Plus, their earrings, bracelets, and rings are usually 2 for $8. Seriously, you can't beat that!

This blazer from Macy's may be the answer to my prayers, even though it's not black. It's got the embellished shoulders as well as an awesome military vibe to it. Keep this low key with a white tee and jeans. It's on sale for $20.99 now so snatch it up while it's still in stock!

I like the preppy feel of this blazer from F21. The contrast between the black and the cream adds a really casual feel to it. I would add a colorful bag to make it all POP. In true F21 fashion, it's under $25.

Ok, I know I said I'd keep it under $50, but this one from Torrid is too awesome to pass up. I LOVE the cream and the studs mixed together. It's the perfect mix of softness and edginess. Save up an extra $8 (skip two days at Caribou and you've got it) and go pick one up. Love, love, love!

So that's my obsession for the day. What are yours?
